The employees were invited along with their families for an interactive journey to the Middle Ages…
The castle courtyard was transformed into an authentic medieval village with plenty of entertainment and activities; in the “shield-bearer school”, both old and young could follow training as a knight, and in the craft school they could learn all about lucetting, felting, making chainmail, coin making, candle making and blacksmithing. Popular games, sword fighting demonstrations, falconry shows, troubadours, magician, beggar executioner, jugglers, fortune teller, fools and a medieval dance workshop led to the dramatic, musical and funny notes.
A grand medieval banquet, served by our medieval catering service “’t Cruydt ende Ketel”, brought a culinary journey to the kitchen of our ancestors for a perfect ending to this fun day. Feedback from the Q8-representative at the end of the afternoon: “The best family day we had in a while.”
